It's about time!!
I am so sorry that it has been nearly 3 months since I have last posted. I could try to list a hundred excuses, but what it really boils down to is laziness. To be honest, not that much exciting has been going on. . . except. . .oh yeah, we are having another baby. We are due February 4th. Needless to say this was a surprise, but we are thrilled that Addy will be a big sister (even though she won't be all that big. . .15 months). Nate is dying for a boy but insists he will be fine if it is another girl. I really have no preference. . . just not twins. We find out on September 21. I'll keep you posted.
Addy is growing up. She is so much fun. The Lord knew I would need a smiley, happy baby to enourage me that I am doing an okay job as a mom. She is pulling herself up on everything, crawling everywhere (including up the stairs) and is beginning to cruise along the furniture. My favorite thing that she has started to do since I last posted is absolutely lighting up like a Christmas tree when her daddy gets home from work. He walks in the door and she first looks at him and smiles huge, then she flaps her arms and pumps her legs and then she is off and crawling toward him laughing and grunting until he picks her up. So cute.
To sum up the pictures
The top picture is of Addy at the Cove. She really does love the water. She and Daddy had a good time swimming and playing. Thanks to Jeff and Carly Souders for letting us use their floatie.
Next picture is just one that I though was pretty indicitive of Addy's personality right now. She knows what she wants and she definitely did not want that hat on. . . sorry Nonnie
The next picure is of Addy's first spagetti dinner. It was hilarious. Needless to say she went straight in to the tub after dinner. She had so much fun though. She was laughing the entire time.
The last picture is of our road trip to Vancouver. Addy got a little fussy after 5 hours in the car so we pulled over for awhile and let her crawl around the car. Nate held her on his lap and let her pretend like she was driving. It was like she knew it was cool because she just kept looking at me and laughing like " Hee Hee mommy, look at me! " I am not really sure how I feel about that.

Favorite recent Addy story (sorry if I sound like an obsessed mom but. . I am).
One morning I was having a particularly bad bout of morning sickness. To this point, I had never thrown up in front of Addyson. But this day it was just her and I and we were in the bathroom while I was getting ready. I turned around and started heaving in the toilet and she crawled over and pulled herself up on the side of the toilet and laughed each time I heaved. She was cracking up with each bout and slapping my hand like I was the funniest mom in the whole world who was simply trying to entertain her. It was so funny that I started laughing as I was puking. Try that sometime, it's not easy.

I promise to try to be better about posting. . . love you all.
